Thumbprint Pictures managed the editing and post production process for the 2 hour emcee battle and celebrity interview DVD Fight Klub Vol 1 and the 30 minute MTV pilot episode for Monday Night Fight Klub and Fight Klub Music Group. Don Gaile edited, provided motion graphics, and sound effects for both projects. He also provided color correction and sound design.
SYNOPSIS
Fight Klub is a platform project dedicated to reviving the art form of Battle Rap and exposing signed and unsigned talent. The Fight Klub is an emcee battle competition founded and produced by Fight Klub Music Group and hosted by International P. The bi-weekly NYC competitions are held at Dark Dimensions Studios. Droves of invited spectators, record company executives, and celebrity judges cram into the studio lounge to witness three rounds of fierce verbal poetry that can often lead to sudden death overtime.
Through Fight Klub these urban warriors are given the opportunity to clash with the titans, earning street credibility and initializing a buzz in the entertainment industry. Fight Klub signed a deal with Universal Records who distributes this 2 hour DVD and other future compilations on a periodic basis to it's enthusiastic fans.
