Breakout In Song is an ambitious public arts project that pushes the boundaries of live theater as it dazzles unsuspecting audiences with free, spontaneous and fully staged Broadway musical numbers.

On four different days in July 2009 each number was performed at iconic New York City locations including Time Warner Center, South Street Seaport, Intrepid Museum and Times Square. Performers and singers ranged in number from 40-100.

Shot in HD, Thumbprint Pictures managed the dozen cameras surupticiously placed in and above the crowd. We also strategized the entire shoot, managed the crew and performed the multi-camera editing, sound mixing, and final compression.
